David Gregory Lee:  Singer - Multiple Disabilities

Hello friends, I am David Gregory Lee. I have lived with two major life altering disabilities for the past 25 years. On July 10, 1981, I was working for State Wide Service Co clearing trees out and away from power lines just south of Okmulgee, OK. I raised myself into the power lines striking one of them with my head. I was not wearing a hard hat. The electricity entered the top right side of my head and exited out my right hand which was grounded by the tree limb I was holding onto. My right hand was amputated after two weeks and bilateral electrical cataracts were removed from both eyes the following year.

I have recorded a 10 song CD that I want to offer to the public. One-third of the proceeds from the sale of the CD I will use to get the medical help I need and deserve; a prosthetic right hand, cataract implants and other more serious concerns with my heart. One-third of the money will be given to other deserving handicapped individuals that has lived their life like myself with no help from any government agency or anyone else for medical, educational and living expenses. The last one-third of the money will be used to establish my own recording label.

I would like to hire James Burton, Ronnie Tutt, Jerry Shift and Glenn Harden to record my next CD as my band members. I will produce, distribute and promote myself to the 60 plus million physically handicapped individuals living in the United States. Having lived these past 25 years with two major life altering disabilities, I have had no role models to speak of and to look up to in the entertainment industry. All I want to do is to be able to sing some songs in the exact same style that was lost August 16, 1977 and help myself and others like me.
